Last Saturday, I visited Mecenatpolis Mall with Seoul usk members. Mecenatpolis is located close to Hapjeong Subway Station in downtown Seoul, and is one of the latest landmarks of Seoul's mixed-use complex that embraces shopping, entertainment, and residential compounds. On entering the gigantic building, I drew some pieces around main central plaza which opened to the sky with lots of colorful umbrellas suspended above the crowded mall. After lunch, I sketched in and out the high-rise building complex as seen through my eyes. There were so many subjects I like that I couldn't them all as I wished. I had a very exciting sketch time.

메세나폴리스 같이 도시중심 개방형 고급 주상복합건물은 어반 스케쳐에게 훌륭한 작업 스튜디오 같은 곳이라 하겠습니다. 영등포 타임스퀘어, 가산 아울렛 단지와는 또다른 공간 분위기와 스케일이 흥미를 유발합니다. 특히 주변 상업시설, 주택가와 한강변의 경관이 조화롭게 어우러지는 환경이므로 스케치의 무궁무진한 요소를 지니고 있는 장소입니다.
