Cheonggyecheon (청계천) is an 11 km long stream that rises near Bugaksan Mt. and Inwangsan Mt. and flows from the west to the east of downtown Seoul. Created as part of an urban renewal project, Cheonggyecheon is a restoration of the stream that was once there before during the Joseon Dynasty. It's very serene with small waterfalls, and nearly two dozen overhead bridges. Cheonggye Plaza(청계광장) in Sejong-ro(세종로), one of the busiest boulevards in Seoul, is situated at the fountainhead of Cheonggyecheon Stream. There were overflowing with colourful sceneries and crowds including lots of foreign tourists.
The weather was so fine, I sketched with Seoul usk members around Cheonggyecheon Stream and Plaza. We enjoyed sketching several fantastic scenes such as buildings, stream, waterfall, people, streetscapes, and so on.
